Induction into the CDC

The quality of induction training in the CDC is completely unsurpassed! As soon as I joined, I had one day’s training in Woking; which entailed meeting the other graduates in my intake and receiving a broad introduction into the next two years of working life at Capgemini.
On the weekend we packed our bags and went straight to Paris; where we had attended CSW, a Consulting Skills Workshop. The course was held in Les Fontaines; in a Chateau just outside of Paris. The experience was incredibly fast paced but extremely rewarding. We were taught skills such as effective team working, client handling skills and core skills needed on client site. It also provided an invaluable opportunity to meet Capgemini consultants from other countries; as management consultants across the globe are required to attend CSW upon joining the company.
After leaving CSW, we had two further weeks of induction training and many planned social evenings; one of which included a comedy evening on a boat at the Embankment Pier! Induction at Capgemini is fantastic as it ensures you learn all the requisite consulting skills before embarking on client work and provides you with the opportunity to make lifelong friends!
