Strategy to Transformation
Strategy & Transformation is at what the heart of what Capgemini do. Our Strategy & Transformation teams work with leading organisations in both the private and public sector to tackle challenges which sit on the CEO agenda. We deliver across the business spectrum from developing a corporate vision and strategy, to designing organisational structures as well as delivering complex transformation programmes.
Our core offers include:
- Strategy – Capgemini Consulting’s Strategy consultants partner with CxOs helping them shape their agenda which will see them successfully navigate an ever increasing challenging environment. Our work focuses on creating and delivering sustainable competitive advantage for their clients, with short-term tactics and long-term vision.
- Organisation Design - Capgemini’s Organisation Design services transform complex enterprise ecosystems into flexible and agile organisations that can respond to external developments and achieve strategic objectives.
- Transformation Design and Delivery - Business transformation programmes are complex, value-adding initiatives that often stall and fail to meet expectations. Capgemini Consulting facilitates and expedites the transformation process to ensure your company’s long term success.
If you join Strategy to Transformation, you’ll be in a unique and demanding position working with a broad range of clients and exposed to a huge spectrum of business issues and experiences. You will be required to design market leading strategies and help clients implement them in order to deliver tangible business results. The projects we work on touch every aspect of our clients’ operations; in the Boardroom, across management and on the “shop-floor”. You will need to be able to adapt rapidly to combine a variety of skills and expertise to meet these challenges.
Our unit also contains the Strategic Research Group (SRG) where we develop short sharp pieces of research to meet business and client needs. Associate Consultants in Strategy and Transformation are expected to spend at least some time in the SRG developing excellent research and analytical skills.
Recent examples of work carried out in S&T include a three-month project with a global confectionary company to assess the potential products offered by emerging African markets; redesigning the European marketing operating model for a household name consumer products company, and; the set-up of a business change programme set up for a high-profile UK Charity.
We asked our existing graduates why they joined S&T... this is what they said:
”The scope of the projects is fantastic - you can find yourself doing strategy, design or implementation which means you get to experience the whole of a project from initial conception to seeing it actually working in the organisation”
”If you’re interested in transformation programmes, how strategy drives business change or want to gain a broad skillset that is applicable on any change programme/project, then S&T is the place for you.”
“S&T gives consultants the best chance to develop their skills in a coaching environment, working with other experienced consultants and very closely with clients at all levels, from workers to main board directors.”
