Capgemini Business Technology Placement Programme
Capgemini works with some of the world’s largest and most prestigious organisations, designing, building, implementing and running their IT solutions. This level of innovation and success is made possible by the passion and calibre of our business technology consultants.
Our Technology placement programme is a 10 / 11 month programme which runs from Autumn 2012 until Summer 2013. Over the course of the programme, you will gain exposure to an unparalleled range of technologies, project work and business sectors. Working on a variety of projects allows you to develop your team working and communications skills as well as allowing you the opportunity to work with key clients and senior project sponsors within Capgemini. But don’t be expect to be spoon-fed. We encourage our placement students to put themselves in the driving seat and to tailor their training according to their own ambitions and needs.
Throughout the placement programme you will be working and socialising alongside senior colleagues and graduates working collaboratively with our clients.
Technology Training

Finance Placement
Capgemini is HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) IT partner, delivering services and managing a collaboration of major IT providers for one of the public sector’s most high profile transformational
outsourcing contracts.
The Finance Team plays an integral role throughout Aspire in the provision and interpretation of financial information, decision support, forecasting, budgeting, financial governance, bid support and working with our HMRC client. Finance roles cover the support of high profile client services, projects/ major programmes and commercial modelling/deal shaping with both internal and external facing roles.
Training
As a placement student this provides excellent opportunities to gain all round financial experience. You will become responsible for preparation of monthly Management Accounts and rolling forecasts whilst ensuring adherence to Capgemini Policies and Accounting Standards You will be involved in the Management of end to end review process for own areas of responsibility, liaising with both the wider business and finance community. You will produce regular and ad hoc reports and analysis to support financial obligations and to assist the business in decision making Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve internal finance reporting and processes

Requirements
We require students to be on track for a 2:1 degree, have achieved CCC at A level and are passionate about technology.
Finance
Location: Telford, West Midlands
On track for a 2:1 degree in Finance, Accounting, Maths, Economics or Finance related subject and have achieved CCC at A Level
Process
Please complete an on-line application form. If successful after screening you will be invited to take part in a telephone interview. The final stage is an Assessment Centre which will be held on site at Capgemini. After that, if successful, you will receive an offer!
