Our Client administers the UK’s tax and customs, and in 2009-10 the department collected £435 billion in revenue and made payments to over 7 million families. HMRC has one of the largest IT infrastructures in the UK and Aspire is one of the largest IT outsourcing contracts in the world. At any one time, there are typically 200 projects underway, delivering the equivalent of 38,000 working days a month.

In 2009, HMRC won eight awards for IT enabled change programmes delivered with Aspire. The recognition for outstanding achievements ranges from completion of a data centre move for tax credits, to the Self Assessment Online service for tax payers.

We have a number of graduate positions working with this client, joining the Technology graduate programme at Telford or Worthing will mean being able to develop a broad range of experience and skills, working alongside people from a variety of disciplines to gain exposure to different potential career routes, from testing to architecture and project management.
